The Minnesota Vikings acquired Sage Rosenfels from the Houston Texans earlier this month for a fourth round draft pick in this year's upcoming NFL draft.

Rosenfels, 30, has been a back-up quarterback his entire career, never getting the opportunity to lead a team from start to finish. This may very well be his chance.

The Vikings, are what many NFL observers believe are a 'quarterback away' from becoming a contender in the tightly contested NFC.
